"There are always impurities in recycled aluminum or steel. Even if you can burn it all off, the original impurities effect the final product. The texture of these items is rough and not appealing because the moldings for the cast metal are made out of sand, but it is acceptable for industrial purposes. We wanted multi-purpose items with a smooth surface, ideal for personal daily use and for camping so we took a grinder and smoothed out the surfaces by hand."
*Note: Due to the specific nature of aluminum, it may chemically react with mineral components and turn black while in contact with moisture. The color of the stopper is assorted. You cannot choose. Not dishwasher/microwave safe.
Area: India
Item No.109701
Size: 1.5" H x 6" W x " D
Material: Aluminum
Since its founding in Japan in 2007, the brand has operated on a core conviction: that the most interesting materials are those that already have a life behind them. Puebco works with salvaged and reclaimed sources — recycled military tents and clothing, decommissioned mail bags, truck upholstery, and repurposed parachutes — redesigned into garments, bags, rugs, and home goods. Made in small batches to keep overproduction minimal and each run intentional.
